Although the 09/10 Gotama still has the same name as last years ski, it has been completely redesigned. With a wider shovel and more tapered sidecut than last years model, Volkl has taken another step forward in creating one of the most versatile skis on the market. Along with the changes in dimensions, this years gotama features a new camber profile which puts a very low profile rocker throughout the ski. The rocker is significant enough to make this ski float like a powder ski, but slight enough to be stable at speed on harder snow.
